BEST location. I loved the exterior of the hotel Mills House and the lobby was lovely. We got a room with a terrace door and it was so nice to sit outside, even in the winter! The young man who took my bags to my room was so sweet and kind.
The hotel Hyatt Place Charleston/Historic District offers a peaceful and relaxing environment from the moment you walk in, the concierge/front desk was really nice. The facilities are well maintained, and both the room and bathroom.
I let the hotel Residence Inn know of my plans to propose to my girlfriend prior to arrival. The staff went above and beyond to upgrade our room, consistently check accommodations, provide a more than atmosphere, and the element of surprise.
